Absolutely. We welcome absolute beginners to intermediate learners worldwide. Our speak-first approach get you into owning the Dutch ABC's and pronunciation from lesson one. Don't worry about mistakes, we love them, It’s how you learn!
What exactly is Define Dutch?
1:1 Tutor-Coaching where you speak most of the time. We stack habits into your week and give missions & challenges that fit your life—so Dutch happens between calls, not just during them. Progress is tracked on a 5-Level path with weekly recaps and a Session-10 guarantee.
Who is this for?
Anyone who wants to speak Dutch (inside or outside NL). Beginners to A2 are perfect; higher levels welcome if you want fluency in real life, not theory.
How long are sessions?
50 minutes, Online via Google Meet or Zoom.
Do you teach grammar?
You always get taught the basics, after that, only when it blocks speaking. The priority is live conversation and usable phrases.
Can I choose my tutor?
Yes. Browse Tutor-Coaches and hit Request [Name]. We confirm availability. If they’re full, we suggest the closest match.
What if no tutor matches my time zone?
We’ll still get you started this week. If your first choice isn’t available in your hours, we match you to a coach who can meet you—or give you fast alternatives until a perfect slot opens.
What’s the guarantee?
We’re capacity-limited. So, we use the Session-10 guarantee instead of refunds. Be able to have a Real-life conversation by Session 10 or we add 1 extra session free. “Real-life” = a two-way Dutch interaction. Show up, do the micro-missions, submit the quick check-ins.
